June 8, 2026 - PEORIA, IL - Tre Richardson III has been named the Midwest League Player of the Week by Major League Baseball for the week of June 2-7. Richardson is the second consecutive Chief to earn the honor, following Won-Bin Cho last week.
Richardson's standout week was a driving force for a Chiefs offense that scored 51 runs in a six-game sweep of the Beloit Sky Carp at Dozer Park. The infielder finished the week 7-17 with a whopping five home runs and a Midwest League Best 1.794 OPS.

June 7, 2026 - PEORIA, IL - The Chiefs completed a six-game sweep of Beloit with a 3-1 victory on Sunday afternoon at Dozer Park. After hurling a shutout on Saturday night, four Chiefs pitchers combined to limit the Sky Carp to one run, led by six shutout innings from starter Blake Aita.
The sweep is just the fourth six-game sweep for Peoria since Minor League Baseball began the six-game series format in 2021.

June 7, 2026 - COMSTOCK PARK, MI - Defending two-time American League Cy Young Award-winner pitcher Tarik Skubal dazzled in his rehab appearance with the West Michigan Whitecaps as they blanked the Dayton Dragons 8-0 in front of 8,967 fans Sunday afternoon at LMCU Ballpark.
Skubal saw his first live game action since undergoing arthroscopic surgery on May 4, and he didn't skip a beat, throwing 44 of 54 pitches for strikes while completing five shutout innings with six strikeouts in the victory. West Michigan secured its first series win... Full Story

Devin Taylor delivered four singles and a bases-loaded HBP and Ben Newton collected three hits, part of a 20-hit attack for the Nuts, who scored four runs in the third inning and three runs apiece in the fifth, seventh and ninth in the easy victory.
