Kernels Offense Not Enough, Peoria Bests Cedar Rapids 12-10
April 23, 2026 - PEORIA, ILL - Cedar Rapids crushed three home runs, part of 11 hits, leading to 10 runs, but it was not enough Thursday night in a 12-10 loss in Peoria.
The Kernels opened the scoring early. The second batter of the game, Eduardo Tait, belted a home run to center to put Cedar Rapids on top 1-0.

Chiefs Top Kernels 5-2
April 22, 2026 - PEORIA, ILL - Jalin Flores crushed a two-run home run in the bottom of the fourth to give the Chiefs the lead they would never lose in a 5-2 victory over Cedar Rapids Wednesday afternoon.
After not leading in the series opener on Tuesday, the Kernels got on the board first on Wednesday. Jaime Ferrer worked a walk to begin the third and moved to second on a Khadim Diaw hit-by-pitch. The next batter, Jacob McCombs, put the Kernels in front with an RBI double to make it 1-0.

Five-Run Fourth Powers Chiefs Past Kernels
April 21, 2026 - PEORIA, ILL - Peoria used a five-run fourth inning to break a 1-1 tie and take a lead it would never lose in a series-opening 7-2 win over Cedar Rapids Tuesday night.
The Chiefs opened the scoring in the last of the first. Rainiel Rodriguez doubled with one out, and two batters later came in to score on a Josh Kross RBI single to put Peoria on top 1-0.
