Hawks Fall in Sioux City
March 14, 2026 - The Sioux City Musketeers overcame two separate deficits and upended the Waterloo Black Hawks 4-2 at Tyson Events Center Saturday.
As a result, the Musketeers won four of five against the Black Hawks during the 2025/26 season series. Both games played in Sioux City finished with 4-2 scores.

March 13, 2026 - Salvatore Viviano scored twice, and the Waterloo Black Hawks edged the Des Moines Buccaneers for a 3-2 Friday win at Young Arena.
With the victory, Waterloo claimed five of eight 2025/26 meetings against their longtime Central Iowa rivals. Viviano finished the season series with nine points (seven goals, two assists) in the eight games.

With just 10 games remaining, the Black Hawks are about to meet the Des Moines Buccaneers and Sioux City Musketeers for the final time in 2025/26. Steel Slip Past Hawks Sunday
March 8, 2026 - A brutal stretch of nine Waterloo Black Hawks games in 17 days ended Sunday with a 3-2 loss to the Chicago Steel at Fox Valley Ice Arena.
Chicago scored twice in the third period, swinging to the victory after Waterloo held the lead through 40 minutes. When the teams had met two nights earlier, they were tied at the second intermission before three third period Chicago goals resulted in a 5-2 final.
