February 27, 2026 - The Dubuque Fighting Saints scored on the power play and shorthanded during a 4-1 win over the Waterloo Black Hawks Friday at ImOn Arena. Dubuque was one-for-two on the power play, while the Hawks were turned away on five chances. The Saints' shorthanded score was their league-leading ninth of the season. Waterloo Black Hawks Weekly Preview

February 24, 2026 - A Double with Dubuque, then Des Moines This weekend opens with a home-and-home set against the Dubuque Fighting Saints. Waterloo visits their Highway 20 rivals on Friday at 7:05 p.m., then the Fighting Saints come to Young Arena the next night at 6:35 p.m. Waterloo and Dubuque have not met since the USHL Fall Classic. Lancers Blank Black Hawks Sunday

February 22, 2026 - Omaha Lancers goaltender Nils Maurins has four wins during the 2025/26 season; three of them have been shutouts, including Sunday's 3-0 decision against the Waterloo Black Hawks at Liberty First Credit Union Arena. Maurins was particularly strong in the second period, when he turned in a dozen saves. Hawks Push Phantoms to OT

February 21, 2026 - Jack Hextall scored 55 seconds into overtime to settle a twisting, turning game at Young Arena Friday night, winning it for the Youngstown Phantoms against the Waterloo Black Hawks 6-5. Hextall was gliding to his left near the top of the circle when he flipped in the decisive goal during the first shift of overtime.
