April 18, 2026 - LANSING, Ind. - Casey Yamauchi blasted a go-ahead three-run homer in a four-run fifth-inning rally, only to see the West Michigan Whitecaps (9-5) answer with six straight runs for a 9-5 victory over the Lansing Lugnuts (5-8) on a chilly Saturday afternoon at Jackson® Field.
The Lugnuts have lost six consecutive games, five straight in the series, while West Michigan has won six in a row.

Capital City Classic to be Played at Jackson® Field on May 23
April 17, 2026 - LANSING, Mich. - Jackson® Field, home of the Lansing Lugnuts, will host the 2026 Capital City Classic presented by LAFCU on Saturday, May 23, benefitting Lansing's three high schools.
Gates will open at 9 a.m. for a round-robin series of three games between Lansing Sexton, Lansing Eastern and Lansing Everett.

Nuts/Whitecaps Postponed, Doubleheader Friday
April 16, 2026 - LANSING, Ind. - The Lansing Lugnuts (5-5) and the West Michigan Whitecaps (6-5) were postponed due to unplayable field conditions on Thursday and will make up the game as part of a 6:05 p.m. doubleheader Friday at Jackson® Field.
The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning games separated by approximately 40 minutes between games. Gates open at 5 p.m.
