Jair Fernandez Returns as Loons Manager for 2026 Season
January 8, 2026 - MIDLAND, Mich. - The Great Lakes Loons, in conjunction with the Los Angeles Dodgers, have named Jair Fernandez as their manager for the 2026 season. Fernandez will manage Great Lakes for the third straight season.
Jair Fernandez is the 11th manager in the Loons' 18-year history and the second to return for a third year (Juan Bustabad 2008-2010). 2026 will be Fernandez's tenth season as a coach within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization.

Johnny Dukes Named MWL Clubhouse Manager of the Year
November 11, 2025 - MIDLAND, Mich. - Minor League Baseball (MiLB) today announced the winners of the Head Groundskeeper of the Year and Home and Visiting Clubhouse Manager of the Year Awards for each of the full season minor leagues.
