Jacob Truscott Recalled by Grand Rapids
February 15, 2026 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins on Sunday recalled defenseman Jacob Truscott from the ECHL's Toledo Walleye.
Truscott made his professional debut with the Griffins on Oct. 18 against the Manitoba Moose and later bagged his first pro point with an assist on Oct. 28 at Iowa. Through six games in the AHL, the Port Huron, Michigan, native has two assists, zero penalty minutes and a plus-three rating. Rise Sweep Atlanta in Morgan Hentz Debut
February 14, 2026 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Having arrived in Grand Rapids less than 24 hours ago, the newest Rise acquisition Morgan Hentz helped spark a much-needed turnaround as the Rise snapped a five-match losing streak with a 3-0 win over the Atlanta Vibe on Saturday night at Van Andel Arena.
The sweep, the first for Grand Rapids this season, avenged a 3-0 loss to the Vibe on Jan. 11 in Atlanta. The Rise won by set scores of 25-12, 28-26, 25-22.

Griffins Secure 4-2 Victory over Texas Fresh off All-Star Break
February 13, 2026 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Behind a game-winning goal in the final period from Austin Watson, the Grand Rapids Griffins secured a 4-2 victory over the Texas Stars on Friday at Van Andel Arena in their first game back from the all-star break.
Grand Rapids improved its league-best record to 36-7-2-1 with 75 points through 46 games, while its home record stood at 18-5-1-0. Rise Acquire Two-Time MLV Libero of the Year Morgan Hentz in Historic Trade with Omaha
February 13, 2026 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Rise on Friday announced the first trade in franchise history, acquiring libero Morgan Hentz (HENTS) from the Omaha Supernovas in exchange for libero Elena Oglivie and the Rise's first-round pick in the 2026 MLV Draft.
