July 17, 2026 - MIDLAND, MI - Friday's scheduled series opener between the West Michigan Whitecaps (36-49) and the Great Lakes Loons (51-33) at Dow Diamond has been postponed due to insufficient air quality from the Canadian Wildfires moving across the region throughout the week. Griffins Sign Tag Bertuzzi to One-Year Contract

July 15, 2026 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins signed forward Tag Bertuzzi to a one-year contract for the 2026-27 season. Bertuzzi, a six-year pro, competed in 14 games last season with the AHL's Utica Comets in addition to showing 31 points (16-15-31) and 23 penalty minutes in 38 outings with the ECHL's Adirondack Thunder. July 13, 2026 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins on Monday signed forward Kaden Bohlsen to a one-year, two-way contract for the 2026-27 season. Bohlsen totaled 29 points (20-9-29), 39 penalty minutes and a minus-two rating in 55 regular-season games with the ECHL's South Carolina Stingray this past season as a rookie.
