Grand Rapids Signs Chaz Reddekopp to One-Year Contract

July 17, 2024 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins signed defenseman Chaz Reddekopp (REH-deh-kawp) to a one-year, two-way contract for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Reddekopp, the former 187th pick by the Los Angeles Kings in 2015, totaled career-high numbers with the Kalamazoo Wings (ECHL) last season in games played (67), goals (5), points (15) and penalty minutes (194). July 11, 2024 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins on Thursday announced their schedule for the 2024-25 American Hockey League season. It will mark the franchise's 29th campaign overall, 24th as a member of the AHL, and 23rd as the primary affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings. Griffins to Host Two "Lids at the Library" Bike Helmet Giveaways

July 1, 2024 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Two hundred children will receive a new bike helmet at no cost next week through signature events that are part of the 21st summer of the Grand Rapids Griffins' "Put A Lid On It! " (PALOI) bike helmet safety program, presented by Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. June 24, 2024 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Thanks to the Florida Panthers' 4-3 series victory over the Edmonton Oilers in the 2024 Stanley Cup Final, a Grand Rapids Griffins alum will have his name engraved on the Stanley Cup for the fifth straight year, the 11th time in the last 17 years, and the 13th time in the last 20 seasons.
