November 9, 2025 - ROSEMONT, Ill. - Though the Grand Rapids Griffins extended their point streak to nine games (8-0-0-1), the squad ultimately suffered its first defeat of the season 4-3 in a shootout to the Chicago Wolves on Sunday at Allstate Arena. The Griffins' 8-0-0-1 start through nine games remains the best start in franchise history and the best start on the road since 2007-08. Detroit Recalls Nate Danielson from Griffins

November 9, 2025 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Detroit Red Wings on Sunday recalled center Nate Danielson from the Grand Rapids Griffins. Danielson, the ninth overall pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, returned from a preseason injury on Oct. 24 and has competed in four games with Grand Rapids this season, compiling five points (1-4-5), four penalty minutes and a plus-two rating. Last season as a rookie, Danielson logged 39 points (12-27-39), 33 penalty minutes and a plus-four rating in 71 regular-season games, adding one goal and nine penalty... Full Story

Carter Gylander Reassigned to Grand Rapids

November 8, 2025 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Detroit Red Wings on Saturday reassigned goaltender Carter Gylander to the Grand Rapids Griffins from the ECHL's Toledo Walleye. Gylander has appeared in four games with Toledo this season, showing a 2-2-0 record with a 2.78 goals-against average and an .895 save percentage. Last season as a rookie, the 24-year-old went 20-9-5 in 34 regular-season games with the Walleye to go along with a 2.61 GAA and a .907 save percentage.
