December 27, 2025 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins on Saturday signed forward Chad Hillebrand to a professional tryout from the ECHL's Toledo Walleye. Hillebrand, a second-year pro, collected his first goal as a Griffin during a two-point night (1-1-2) on Dec. 19 at Iowa. In three games with Grand Rapids this season, Hillebrand has three points (1-2-3), two penalty minutes and a plus-four rating.
