K-Wings Thump Bison in Front of Pink Ice Sellout Crowd

February 7, 2026 - KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo Wings (18-18-3-3), proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks, exploded for five 'Pink Ice' goals, four multi-point scorers and 52 penalty minutes in a 5-2 rout of the Bloomington Bison (22-17-2-2) on Saturday in front of a sold-out Wings Event Center. Kalamazoo and Bloomington put on a show for the 5,222 in attendance at the 25th annual Pink Ice game that saw a combined 79 penalty minutes, four game misconducts and two fighting majors. February 6, 2026 - KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo Wings (17-18-3-3), proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks, couldn't recover from a pair of second-period goals, 1:19 apart, and fell to the Bloomington Bison (22-16-2-2) on Friday at Wings Event Center, 5-2. K-Wings Sign Rookie Defenseman Brendan Dowler

February 6, 2026 - KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks, announced Friday the team has signed rookie defenseman Brendan Dowler to a Standard Player Contract. Dowler, 28, is a 6-foot 3-inch, 201-pound, Marbledale, CT native, coming to Kalamazoo with 11 games played for Worcester and Tahoe this season (1g, +5).
