October 24, 2025 - Porter and the team visited Bronson Children's Hospital with a big check to donate $2,182.
The specialty jerseys were auctioned off and Growlers fans raised money - they were designed by kids receiving treatment.
Porter brought gifts, visited kids in their hospital rooms and took pictures with them.
The check presentation was to Child Life Specialist Brooke Heck and Major Gifts Officer Jenna Ellis with Bronson Healthcare.

October 22, 2025 - Former Growler, Joey Loperfido (2018), is playing in the World Series for the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Duke outfielder was a 7th round draft pick in 2021 - the 10th former Growler to play in the MLB.
Loperfido hit .471 as a member of the first Growlers team to make the playoffs with a 41-31 record.
He made his debut in April 2024 and is a career .248 hitter with 8 home runs and 39 RBI's.
The MLB World Series starts this Friday, October 24 at 8pm with Game 1 in Toronto.... Full Story
October 20, 2025 - We have a winner! The 'Summertime in Southwest Michigan' was voted as the jersey (submitted by Chad P.) that will serve as inspiration for the team's specialty jersey in 2026.
Our team will now alter logos to meet brand standards, get Northwoods League approval and work with Rawlings to create the jersey.
What else would you add or change to this jersey?
The team will wear these jerseys on Saturdays and be auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting the Advia Foundation.

October 7, 2025 - Five members of our front office volunteered to help provide free & new athletic shoes to local elementary students.
Over 660 pairs of shoes were fit by Comstock Public Schools & Schoolcraft Elementary students through the First Day Shoe Fund.
The shoes go to kids in need at local public elementary schools for no cost to them.
Local businesses and non-profits purchase the shoes and donate them - but every kid has a different size foot.
That's where our team and many volunteers come in to help kids get their feet ... Full Story
