Parkview Field to Unveil New Group-Seating Area

February 19, 2026 - FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Fort Wayne TinCaps announced Thursday the plans to open a brand-new group seating area at Parkview Field for the 2026 season, the Appleseed Terrace. The Appleseed Terrace will be located on the main concourse above the right field wall, featuring seats along a drink rail and high-top tables with umbrellas. Draft beer and house wine are included with the all-you-can-eat buffet that includes gluten-free options. Open to fans far and wide, the Terrace will accommodate one group of 60-100 each game. ... TinCaps Unveil New Alternate Identity in 2026, Fort Wayne Pufferbellies

February 12, 2026 - FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Paying homage to the area's rich railroad history, the Fort Wayne TinCaps announced this evening the team will be playing as the "PufferBellies" every Wednesday night game, May through August, during the 2026 season. The name "PufferBellies" refers to the nickname given to steam-powered locomotives which would "puff" steam into the air produced by the giant boilers located in the "belly" of the massive engines. February 6, 2026 - FORT WAYNE, Ind. - World Baseball Classic Inc. announced the final rosters for the 2026 World Baseball Classic Thursday night on MLB Network, featuring 19 former TinCaps players and coaches. Of the 20 international federations, TinCaps alumni can be found on 12 squads. Padres Announce 2026 Fort Wayne TinCaps Coaching Staff

January 21, 2026 - FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The San Diego Padres have announced the coaching staff for the 2026 Fort Wayne TinCaps season. Jonathan Mathews returns as manager after bringing the club to a second-half East Division title in 2023. Mathews will be joined by pitching coach Yorman Bazardo, the former big leaguer with the Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, and Florida Marlins.
