June 9, 2025 - Fort Wayne, IN - The Fort Wayne Komets announced their protected list of players submitted to the ECHL following the 2024-25 season. The list of 28 players includes 19 forwards and nine defensemen.

May 15, 2025 - Fort Wayne, IN - The Komets have released their full 2025-2026 regular season schedule. The 74th season of Komet hockey will start with 11 consecutive road games, beginning with an opening contest at Indy on Friday, October 17, and the home opener against Bloomington on Friday, November 21, at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

May 10, 2025 - The Komets were eliminated from the Kelly Cup Playoffs after a 5-3 loss at the Huntington Center on Saturday.
Both teams skated to a stalemate after twenty minutes. James Stefan logged the game's first power-play goal at :35 with assists from Blake Murray and Kyle Mayhew. Toledo tied the game at 7:08 only to have Jack Dugan respond with a goal at 7:24 with helpers from Murray and Ethan Keppen. With Zach Jordan in the penalty box for roughing, the Walleye tied the game at 11:04 and took the lead at 19:06.

May 8, 2025 - The Komets lost to Toledo in game five of the Central Division Final 2-1 at the Coliseum on Thursday, giving the Walleye a 3-2 series edge.
After two scoreless periods, Anthony Petruzzelli broke the deadlock with a goal at 4:10 of the third period. The Walleye countered with a Tyler Spezia strike at 8:31 to tie the game. With time winding down in regulation, Colin Swoyer netted the game-winning goal at 19:36 to give the contest to the Walleye. The Komets outshot Toledo 35-12 in the match.... Full Story
