September 18, 2025 - PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Rivermen announced on Thursday that they have forward Connor Szmul and defensemen Josh Martin, Dash Quartarolo, and Cole Grosse for the 2025-26 season. Szmul, a forward from Castle Rock, Colorado, will be entering his rookie year of professional hockey. He is coming off four years at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where Szmul had 60 points (29 goals, 31 assists) in 103 NCAA-Division III games. Chiefs, Dozer Park to Begin Major Install of New Playing Surface

September 18, 2025 - PEORIA, IL - Dozer Park, the downtown home of the Peoria Chiefs since 2002, will undergo a significant renovation starting Monday, September 22, with the installation of a new playing surface. The project will be led by East Peoria-based Turf Solutions. Wilson Services of Central Illinois, the official field naming rights partner of Dozer Park, will also oversee the construction. Rivermen Sign Three for 2025

September 9, 2025 - PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Rivermen announced on Tuesday that they have signed forwards Griffen Fox and Daniel Chartrand, along with defenseman Brendan Rons, to the active roster for the 2025-26 season. Fox, a native of Brantford, Ontario, made his professional debut last season. Fox played in nine games in the ECHL with the Fort Wayne Komets and the Allen Americans in the ECHL.
