Bison Announce Protected List

June 9, 2025 - Bloomington, Ill. - Bloomington Bison General Manager and Head Coach, Phillip Barski, announced today the team's 2025 Protected List whose ECHL rights are retained. The Protected List is the first phase in a three-step offseason process in which teams can protect playing rights through the signing period. Bison Announce Schedule Changes

June 4, 2025 - Bloomington, Ill. - Bloomington Bison President Andy Zilch announced today a pair of schedule changes for the 2025-26 ECHL Regular Season. The Bison will now host the Cincinnati Cyclones on January 23, 2026, at Grossinger Motors Arena with faceoff set for 7 p.m. In addition, the Bison will now travel to Cincinnati for an away game on November 1, 2025, at Heritage Bank Center with opening faceoff slated for 6:35 p.m. ET. Bloomington Bison Inaugural Season Makes Swift Impact in Community

June 2, 2025 - Bloomington, Ill. - The Bloomington Bison made a strong impression both on and off the ice during the 2024-25 season. This maintained the team's commitment to community involvement which also built excitement during their inaugural season. Prior to the team beginning play, the Bison front office volunteered and helped sponsor multiple local golf outings by contributing donation baskets. Bison Announce 2025-26 Regular Season Schedule

May 15, 2025 - Bloomington, Ill. - Bloomington Bison President Andy Zilch announced today the team's 2025-26 regular season schedule. The 72-game schedule begins at Grossinger Motors Arena on Saturday, October 18 against the Iowa Heartlanders at 7 p.m. The schedule features 12 Friday home games along with 13 Saturday home games.
