January 10, 2026 - Bloomington, Ill. - Dryden McKay recorded a 34-save shutout and Lou-Felix Denis scored two powerplay goals in a 5-0 Bloomington Bison win over the Cincinnati Cyclones at Grossinger Motors Arena on Saturday evening. Intense physical play started nearly from the opening puck drop and the Bison were awarded an early powerplay chance just over two minutes in. McKay Signs PTO with Rockford IceHogs

January 9, 2026 - Bloomington, Ill. - Goaltender Dryden McKay has signed a professional tryout with the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs, the team announced on Friday. McKay, 28, has appeared in 13 games for the Bison this season and earned a 7-5-1 record after being acquired via trade from the Utah Grizzlies on November 4. The Downers Grove, Illinois native has played in three AHL games and posted a 1-1-1 record with the Toronto Marlies and Ontario Reign. January 8, 2026 - Bloomington, Ill. - Ayden MacDonald scored twice and registered an assist to help propel the Bloomington Bison to a 4-3 win over the Kalamazoo Wings at Grossinger Motors Arena on Wednesday evening. The Bison created early defensive success by getting sticks in shooting lanes and limiting Wings chances in the team's first game back from a four-games-in-five-nights road trip. Kyle Jackson Named to All-Star Team

January 7, 2026 - Bloomington, Ill. - Kyle Jackson has been named to the 2026 Warrior/ECHL All-Star Classic team, the league announced on Wednesday. The game will be hosted by the Allen Americans on Monday, January 19 at 6:00 p.m. CT at Credit Union of Texas Event Center. Jackson, 23, leads Bloomington with 30 points (11g-19a) in 23 games played this season and has appeared in four games with the American Hockey League's Hartford Wolf Pack.
