July 23, 2024 - RALEIGH, NC - The Carolina Hurricanes announced on Tuesday a working agreement with the Bloomington Bison. Bloomington is an ECHL expansion team will begin play in the 2024-25 season. The Bison officially affiliated with the New York Rangers. June 21, 2024 - BLOOMINGTON - The Bloomington Bison are proud to announce the appointment of Dan Larmer as their new Assistant General Manager. Dan joins the Bison from the 2023 OHL Champion Peterborough Petes. A graduate of the Whitchurch-Stouffville Minor Hockey Association (WSMHA), Dan's early achievements include winning an OMHA Bantam Championship. Bison to Play Fuel in Lone Preseason Game

June 18, 2024 - BLOOMINGTON - The Bloomington Bison will host the Indy Fuel at Grossinger Motors Arena in their lone preseason game on Saturday, October 12, 2024. This will be the first-ever game played for the Bloomington Bison, one of the newest teams to join the ECHL for the 2024-25 season along with the Lake Tahoe Knight Monsters. Bison Announce 2024-25 Regular Season Schedule

June 4, 2024 - BLOOMINGTON - The Bloomington Bison announced today their full 72-game schedule for the 2024-25 campaign, which will be their inaugural season in the ECHL. The Bison will be in the league's Central division. The Bison will open their first season at home on Saturday, Oct. 19 against their Central division opponent the Toledo Walleye.
