Keller Commits to the University of New England

August 8, 2024 - Springfield, Illinois - The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are proud to announce that team captain Isaac Keller has committed to play NCAA D - III hockey at the University of New England. Keller, a native of Grand Rapids, MI, played three seasons in the Capital City appearing in 151 games. He tallied 23 goals and 46 assists for 69 points. Landry Schmuck Commits to Aurora University

August 6, 2024 - Springfield, Illinois - The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are proud to announce that forward Landry Schmuck has committed to play hockey at Aurora University for the 2024-25 season. Schmuck, a native of Huntsville, AL, played 88 games for the Jr. Blues over the past two seasons. He tallied 37 goals, including 17 last season, and 19 assists for 69 career points. May 7, 2024 - Springfield, Illinois - The Springfield Jr. Blues, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that we have hired Jon Skarlis as our new Assistant Coach for the 2024-25 season. Skarlis, a native of Waterloo, IA, comes to Springfield after serving as the Associate Head Coach of the 2023-24 Dineen Cup Champion South Shore Kings where he oversaw the defensemen and power play units.
