March 19, 2026 - SAUGET, ILL. - The Gateway Grizzlies announce that they have signed right-handed pitcher Luis Jerez and left-handed pitcher Yanquiel Sanchez as they continue to build their roster for 2026. Both pitchers hail from the baseball hotbed of Cuba, and both come to the Grizzlies with experience in affiliated baseball. March 18, 2026 - SAUGET, ILL. - The Gateway Grizzlies continue to stockpile talented players for their 2026 season, announcing the signings of infielder Peyton Carr along with right-handed pitcher Albert Rivas today. Carr comes to the Grizzlies from Fort Myers, Florida and the Minnesota Twins organization, where he played last year. In 87 games split between Single-A Fort Myers and A-Advanced Cedar Rapids, the 23-year-old hit four home runs and 10 doubles along with 28 RBIs. Claudio Galva Re-Signs with Grizzlies

February 23, 2026 - SAUGET, ILL. - The Gateway Grizzlies announce that they have re-signed left-handed pitcher Claudio Galva for the 2026 season, bringing back a valuable member of their 2025 pitching staff. Galva put up solid numbers last year for the Grizzlies, posting a 2.93 ERA across 28 appearances with five spot starts as well as a 7-1 record, 49 strikeouts, and 27 walks in 61 1/3 innings while serving primarily as the "long reliever" for the club. Cade Parker, Damone Hale Join Grizzlies

February 19, 2026 - SAUGET, ILL. - The Gateway Grizzlies announce that they have signed infielder Cade Parker and traded for outfielder Damone Hale, continuing to add talent to their roster for the upcoming season. Parker began his professional career last summer in the American Association with the Kane County Cougars, seeing action in 12 games while hitting his first professional home run and driving in four in the limited time.
