Kyle Gaedele Named Grizzlies Manager

December 5, 2025 - SAUGET, ILL. - The Gateway Grizzlies announce that Kyle Gaedele will take over as the club's field manager in 2026, making him the seventh manager in team history. The change is effective immediately. Gaedele will take over for Steve Brook, who will become the Grizzlies' Director of Baseball Operations following four successful seasons as manager that included three straight playoff appearances from 2023-25. Grizzlies Announce 2026 Schedule

October 6, 2025 - SAUGET, ILL. - The Gateway Grizzlies announced their full schedule for the upcoming 2026 season, with an expanded regular season beginning on Thursday, May 7 as they continue to bring affordable, family fun to the St. Louis Metro East and battle for a Frontier League championship. The new, 102-game regular season slate will begin for Gateway on the road, as the Grizzlies play the Mississippi Mud Monsters from May 7-9. September 12, 2025 - SAUGET, ILL. - The Gateway Grizzlies dropped a close contest back home at Arsenal BG Ballpark to the Schaumburg Boomers by a score of 4-2 in Game 3 of the Midwest Conference Finals, suffering a series sweep to conclude a successful 2025 season. Lukas Veinbergs (1-1) got the start on the mound for the Grizzlies, and he was sharp, holding the Boomers off the board for the first three and two-thirds innings. September 10, 2025 - SCHAUMBURG, ILL. - The Gateway Grizzlies pitched three straight scoreless innings to begin the second game of the Midwest Conference Finals on Wednesday night, but gave up six runs on seven hits in the bottom of the fourth en route to a 9-0 blowout loss at Wintrust Field.
