Thunderbolts Advance Back to the President's Cup Final
April 24, 2026 - Evansville, In.: In another nailbiter of a game on Thursday night at Ford Center, the Evansville Thunderbolts persevered to win 4-1 and defeat the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs in the semifinals three games to one, becoming the first defending President's Cup champion to advance back to the Final since 2019. April 23, 2026 - Evansville, In.: Tied 1-1 late in the third period, the Thunderbolts capitalized on late Roanoke penalties, as Myles Abbate's power play goal with 2:47 remaining broke the tie in a 4-1 win over Roanoke at Ford Center on Wednesday night. Thunderbolts Return to Ford Center with Semifinal Series Tied
April 21, 2026 - Evansville, In.: The Thunderbolts were able to secure the split that they needed out of the first two games of the semifinal series in Roanoke this past weekend, and now return to Ford Center for games 3 and 4 this Wednesday and Thursday in what has now become a best-of-three series against the Rail Yard Dawgs with Evansville holding home-ice advantage.

McAuliffe Contract Acquired by Twins
April 20, 2026 - EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Evansville Otters are excited to announce that right-handed pitcher Nick McAuliffe has had his contract acquired by the Minnesota Twins.
McAuliffe, from Phillipsburg, N.J., opened his professional career last year, playing two games for the Sioux City Explorers of the American Association before being traded to Evansville. After the contract purchases of Nate Wohlgemuth and Grif Hughes, McAuliffe became the go-to arm at the back end of bullpen.
