Thunderbolts Season Ends in Macon

April 15, 2018 - After Macon tied the series last night, the series would be decided by a third game at the Macon Coliseum on Sunday. Unfortunately, the Bolts couldn't get any bounces their way, despite putting 40 shots on goal. The Thunderbolts fell 8-0 in the playoff finale. Despite the early playoff exit, the Thunderbolts had a significant year in their second season. Scorcia Finds the Net Again During Loss to Mayhem

April 14, 2018 - As the series shifted back to Georgia, the Bolts looked to close out the Challenge Round with a victory to propel them to round two. However, after a strong start, the Mayhem would take over and win 6-1, to force a game three tomorrow afternoon. John Scorcia scored the lone goal for Evansville, on a power play in the third period, sniping a shot past Charlie Finn to break the shutout, from Dave Williams and Carter Shinkaruk at 13:48. Thunderbolts Shoot Down Mayhem, 2-1

April 13, 2018 - Evansville, Ind: In front of a crowd of 2,674 on a warm Thursday night in Evansville, the Thunderbolts began their quest for the President's Cup on home ice against the defending champions, the Macon Mayhem. In the city's first playoff game in six years, the Bolts would dominate the Mayhem, and win by a 2-1 score, and take a 1-0 series lead back to Macon. Pyle Finalizes Playoff Roster

April 9, 2018 - Evansville, Ind: Evansville Thunderbolts Head Coach Jeff Pyle announced today the team's playoff roster. Jackson Leef has returned to the Thunderbolts from his stint in the ECHL to max out the SPHL's 19-player limit. Leef is returning after playing 44 games with the Brampton Beast, as well as one game with the AHL's Laval Rocket. The forward tallied 5 goals and 9 assists for 14 points with Brampton.
