September 7, 2026 - Augusta, NJ - The Sussex County Miners faced the Tri-City ValleyCats at the Miners homefield of Skylands Stadium. The Miners' pitcher Kellen Brothers faced the ValleyCats' pitcher Andrew Armstrong. This game was a battle of defenses as both sides quickly racked up strikeouts. September 5, 2026 - The Sussex County Miners defeated the Tri-Valley Wildcats 8-2 in the first of a three game set.
Going into the final series of the season, Sussex County looked to go out with a bang. They did so tonight when John Rizzo Jr. went up against Austin Dill.
The Miners opened scoring in the bottom of the third when back to back singles from Edwin Mateo and Gabriel Maciel brought in two runs. They put a cushion between them and their opponents and it was 2-0.

September 3, 2026 - Augusta, NJ: The Sussex County Miners sweep the doubleheader against the Brockton Rox
After a game one explosion by the Miners offense, game two was more of a pitchers duel. The Miners bullpen put in the work. Jackson Balzan got the start and despite the early struggle, gave the Miners three strong innings. Tyler Thornton and John Perrozzi would follow suit, slamming the door on the Brockton Rox offense.

The Miners will instead take on the Brockton Rox in a double header tomorrow with the first pitch scheduled for 4:30 PM.
