Slammers Strike Early to Beat Bolts

August 12, 2025 - JOLIET, IL - The ThunderBolts came close, but could not complete the comeback in a 5-4 loss at Slammers Stadium Tuesday night. The Slammers (37-42) struck first, with RBI singles from Errny Ordonez and Antonio Valdez to take a 2-0 lead in the first inning. James Dunlap led off the second inning for the ThunderBolts (31-48) with a double to right field, and scored to cut the Slammers' lead in half. Maberry's Four-RBI Day Lifts Bolts to Win

August 10, 2025 - CRESTWOOD, IL - Oscar Serratos was a home run away from the cycle and David Maberry had a four-RBI day in a 15-11 ThunderBolts win over the Evansville Otters at Ozinga Field Sunday afternoon. In the first inning, five Otters reached base, but Dante Maietta pitched out of trouble to limit the damage to one run. Thunderbolts Beat Back Evansville for Win

August 9, 2025 - CRESTWOOD, IL - Three Thunderbolts pitchers held the Evansville Otters to just four hits as the Bolts pulled away late for a 6-1 win at Ozinga Field Saturday night. Dennis Pierce led off the game with a triple for Evansville (27-50) but Tyler Wehrle retired the next three batters to strand him at third.
