Steel Acquire Chicago Blackhawks Prospect Slavin and Orland Park Native Carrick from Lincoln

January 22, 2019 - GENEVA, ILLINOIS - The Chicago Steel announced Tuesday the acquisition of forward Josiah Slavin and defenseman Hunter Carrick from the Lincoln Stars in exchange for forward Ryan Doolin, draft picks, and future considerations. January 21, 2019 - GENEVA, ILLINOIS - Sixty minutes was not enough for the Chicago Steel and Team USA U-17 on Monday afternoon as it took overtime for the Steel to find the winner in a 4-3 final at USA Hockey Arena.
