April 4, 2026 - GENEVA, IL - Chicago came within a goal of erasing a three-goal deficit late in the third period, but couldn't pull off the comeback as the USA Hockey NTDP U17 (17-40-3-2, 39 pts.) downed the Steel (27-27-6-2, 62 pts.) 8-6 at Fox Valley Ice Arena Saturday night.
Playing in their final game in Geneva, the Steel finished their 11-year tenure at Fox Valley Ice Arena with a cumulative attendance of 389,812 fans, scoring 1,279 goals and delivering countless memories for fans.

Timo Kazda scored twice as the Steel ended a four-game home losing streak and won their second consecutive game overall.

April 1, 2026 - GENEVA, ILLINOIS - The Chicago Steel will add one final chapter to the team's 11-year run at Fox Valley Ice Arena when they host their last two home games in Geneva Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4.
Since relocating from Bensenville to Geneva in 2015, the Steel have had 44 players selected in the NHL Draft, including two #1 overall selections, Owen Power in 2021 and Macklin Celebrini in 2024. March 28, 2026 - LINCOLN, NE - Chicago's offense came to life, and goaltender Alex Wang, making his USHL debut, stopped 46 of 50 shots to backstop the Steel (26-26-6-2, 60 pts.) to a 6-4 win over the Lincoln Stars (28-26-4-1, 61 pts.) at the Ice Box Saturday night.
Wang stopped all 17 shots in the third period, and Timo Kazda recorded three assists as six different Steel skaters scored goals to give the Steel the win in their final road matchup of the season. Chicago finished the season with a 14-13-1-2 record on the road.
