June 27, 2026 - BUFFALO, NEW YORK - The Chicago Steel, members of the United States Hockey League, built on their strong track record as a bridge to collegiate and professional hockey as eight current and former players were selected Saturday during the 2026 NHL Draft at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. Steel Announce 2026-2027 Regular Season Schedule

June 23, 2026 - CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - The Chicago Steel, in coordination with the United States Hockey League, released its 2026-2027 regular season schedule Tuesday, excluding games during the USHL Fall Classic which will be released separately at a later date. The team's official home opener will be Saturday, October 3 in their new home on Chicago's west side at USG Arena inside Blackhawks Ice Center presented by Fifth Third Bank. Steel Complete 2026 USHL Draft with 13 Phase II Selections

May 5, 2026 - CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - The Chicago Steel finished the 2026 USHL Draft on Tuesday, rounding out their Phase II class with 13 selected players. The selections join forward Harrison Smith, who was a Phase II tender by the Steel prior to the draft. "We feel very good about the group we've assembled," said Steel General Manager Bobby Goepfert. May 4, 2026 - CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - The Chicago Steel completed Phase I of the 2026 USHL Draft Monday, adding 15 players to their initial protected list from the 2010 birth year.
