Kemps, Tuminaro Selected to 2026 Chipotle All-American Game

December 29, 2025 - GENEVA, ILLINOIS - Chicago Steel defensemen Jonas Kemps and Cole Tuminaro were announced Monday as selections to play in the 2026 Chipotle All-American Game, which will take place at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, MI on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 6 pm CT. The annual event features top 2026 NHL Draft-eligible players from the USA Hockey NTDP U18 team and other USHL teams and will be televised live on NHL Network. Steel Suffer Second Straight OT Loss to Phantoms

December 28, 2025 - GENEVA, IL -- For the second consecutive game, the Phantoms recorded a game-winning goal on the power play in overtime as Jack Hextall tallied the winner in the extra frame to lift Youngstown (21-7-1-1, 44 pts.) to a 3-2 win over the Chicago Steel (12-12-4-1, 29 pts.) December 27, 2025 - GENEVA, IL - Youngstown tied the game with under one minute left in regulation and Phantoms forward Malachi McKinnon scored the game-winner in overtime to lift the Youngstown Phantoms (20-7-1-1, 42 pts.) over the Chicago Steel (12-12-3-1, 28 pts.) 3-2 at Fox Valley Ice Arena Saturday night. December 23, 2025 - GENEVA, ILLINOIS - The Chicago Steel will resume the USHL schedule with two big promotions this weekend, starting with Chicago Blackhawks Night on Saturday, Dec. 27 at 6:05 pm and KIDZ BOP Day on Sunday, Dec. 28 at 3:05 pm as they host the Youngstown Phantoms. Saturday marks the annual Chicago Blackhawks Night with unique special guests, Blackhawks anthem singer Jim Cornelison, along with mascot Tommy Hawk.
