Today they made the following moves to the club's roster. Signed first baseman Marc Flores and RHP Jonathan Martinez. They have also agreed on a trade with the Lake Country DockHounds to bring in RHP Dominic Cancellieri and send RHP Jacob DeLabio in return. June 17, 2026 - (Gary, IN) The Gary SouthShore RailCats and the Chicago Dogs faced each other for the second time of the series. The Dogs won the opening game on a late home run by Jacob Maiben and they started former RailCat J.C. Flowers and Matt Reitz went for Gary. In the bottom of the first the RailCats got out to an incredible start. June 16, 2026 - (Gary, IN) The Gary SouthShore RailCats welcomed the Chicago Dogs into town for a new four-game series coming off a win against the Kane County Cougars. Frank Plesac made his first start for Gary and the Dogs pitched Jose Acuna. The Dogs started the scoring in the top of the second when Jaxx Groshans hit a two-run blast and Tyreque Reed scored on a sacrifice fly. RailCats and Dogs Agree to Four-Player Swap

June 15, 2026 - (Gary, IN) The Gary SouthShore RailCats have announced that they have struck a deal with the Chicago Dogs in a four-player swap. The Dogs will receive RHP Grant Cherry, J.C. Flowers and Cade Herrmann. The RailCats in return will acquire 2025 East All-Star RHP Jacob DeLabio. DeLabio is 6-5 relief pitcher from Kenosha, Wisconsin.
