Major Arena Soccer League Awards Men's and Women's Team to the Sacramento-Cordova Region

September 23, 2025 - RANCHO CORDOVA, CA - The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today that league owners have voted unanimously to award two expansion teams to the Sacramento-Cordova region - with the addition of both a men's team and a women's team for MASL and MASLW, respectively. Stars Tap Jimmy McAlister as Sporting Director

September 19, 2025 - TACOMA, WA. - The Tacoma Stars and Galaxy have announced the addition of NASL Sounders and MISL Stars legend Jimmy McAlister as the team's Sporting Director. In his duties, McAlister will evaluate talent and recruit players for all five teams in the Stars family. Currently, the organization fields teams in the Major Arena Soccer League and USL League Two under the Stars name, as well as the USL W League with the Tacoma Galaxy. St. Louis Ambush Sign Goalkeeper Tomas Gomez

September 18, 2025 - St. Charles, Missouri - Goalkeeper Tomas Gomez is the newest member of the St. Louis Ambush. Gomez was signed to a two-year deal, the team announced today. Gomez was born in Mexico, but grew up locally in Webster Groves. Although the 2025-26 season will be his first in the Major Arena Soccer League, Gomez brings extensive experience at various levels of the outdoor soccer pyramid. Comets Sign Standout Free Agent David Stankovic

September 17, 2025 - The Kansas City Comets have signed free agent midfielder David Stankovic to a three-year contract. As per team and league policies, the terms of the deal were not disclosed. Stankovic proved himself to be a highly efficient scorer in his rookie season with the Texas Outlaws during the 2024-25 campaign.
