Forward Felipe Abreu Signed to One-Year Contract

MASL Kansas City Comets October 3, 2022 - INDEPENDENCE, MO. - The Kansas City Comets have announced the re-signing of forward Felipe Abreu to a one-year deal for the 2022-23 MASL season. Per team and league policies, the terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Abreu had to sit out most of last year due to visa issues and appeared in just five games for the Comets, finishing with a pair of assists in his second season with the club. MASL St. Louis Ambush September 27, 2022 - St. Charles, Missouri - Local product Mike Scharf is coming home to the St. Louis Ambush, the team announced today. The Ambush inked Scharf to a two-year deal. Per league and team policies, no further details of the deal were disclosed. Scharf's professional indoor soccer career began with the Cedar Rapids Rampage, where he earned a roster spot late in the 2017-18 season.
