BBSG Announces "Black Bears Youth Hockey Foundation"

June 10, 2020 - BETHESDA, MD - The Black Bear Sports Group has announced the formation of the Black Bear Youth Hockey Foundation, established to provide need-based aid to hockey players ages 7-17. Through individual grants and sponsored programming, the foundation's goal is to increase American youth hockey participation and ease financial burdens many families undertake to afford association dues both at the Tier 1 and Tier 2 level. Maryland Black Bears Add 3 New Players in League's First Supplemental Draft

May 13, 2020 - ODENTON, MD - The North American Hockey League ran their first-ever Supplemental Draft on Tuesday and the Black Bears were ready to enhance their roster. The Supplemental Draft consists of 81 total picks divided amongst the league's 27 teams, giving each team 3 picks. Of those 81 picks, the Black Bears selected 10th, 64th, and 73rd.
