Black Bears Maul Generals, 4-1, in Fight-Filled Contest
February 14, 2026 - The Maryland Black Bears and Northeast Generals took the ice on Saturday night after a gritty contest the night before that saw Maryland shut out Northeast 4-0. The rematch showed no love lost between these two teams on Valentine's Day, as the Generals racked up 97 penalty minutes in a second period filled with scrums and a war of words. In the end, the Black Bears prevailed 4-1 on the back of two goals from Trey Hinton and an excellent team effort.

Black Bears Battle Back to Sweep Tomahawks
February 7, 2026 - Fans at Piney Orchard Ice Arena haven't seen a home sweep since Thanksgiving weekend when Maryland trounced Danbury. The Black Bears decided to change that on Saturday night when they took the ice against the Johnstown Tomahawks. Despite trailing 3-2, Maryland came back to win 4-3 with a two goal second period.
