Black Bears Sign Center Christian Brune

January 17, 2019 - Today, the Maryland Black Bears signed Center Christian Brune. The 6'1 185-pound lefty will make his debut this weekend against the Northeast Generals. Brune last played for the NAHL Bismarck Bobcats. During his 12-game stretch with the Bobcats, he scored 2 goals and had one assist. The newest Black Bear addition is a dual citizen of the United States and Germany. The New Jersey native has already committed to playing Division I hockey at Merrimack College. Black Bears Tender DMV Local, Reid Leibold

January 14, 2019 - The Maryland Black Bears secured the NAHL tender of Forward Reid Leibold for the 2019-20 season. The signing continues the Black Bears focus on recruiting the best local hockey talent. The 5'11, 168 pound Forward is from Ashburn, Virginia and has previously played with the Washington Little Caps, Team Black, and Team Red. January 12, 2019 - ROCKVILLE, MD - Black Bear fans braved snowy conditions to Rockville Ice Arena to watch Maryland take the ice against the East Division leading Johnstown Tomahawks.
