February 5, 2021 - Washington, D.C. - Washington Mystics General Manager and Head Coach Mike Thibault announced today that the team has acquired forward Erica McCall in a trade with the Minnesota Lynx. Washington will send their third round pick of the 2022 draft to the Lynx.

February 5, 2021 - WASHINGTON, D.C. - Washington Mystics General Manager Mike Thibault announced today that Tina Charles will return to the team for the 2021 WNBA season. Charles was granted a medical exemption by an independent panel and did not participate in the 2020 WNBA season.

February 2, 2021 - WASHINGTON, D.C. - Washington Mystics General Manager Mike Thibault announced today that LaToya Sanders will return to the team for the 2021 WNBA season. Sanders opted out of the 2020 WNBA season.
"We are so glad to have LaToya back with us this season. She was a huge contributor to our Championship season and we definitely missed her last summer," said Thibault.
