DC Defenders Host XFL Conference Championship Watch Party at Walter's Sports Bar

June 4, 2025 - Local sports fans are invited to cheer on the DC Defenders at a free watch party on Sunday evening at Walter's Sports Bar at Navy Yard. The Defenders will take on conference rival the St. Louis Battlehawks at 6 p.m. for the XFL Conference Championship. Seven Defenders Named to All-UFL Team

June 2, 2025 - ARLINGTON, TEXAS - JThe United Football League today announced its 2025 All-UFL Team. The DC Defenders tied with the St. Louis Battlehawks for a league-high seven selections. Wide receiver/return specialist Chris Rowland earned both All-UFL Offensive and Special Teams selections. Offensive tackle Yasir Durant was also named to the All-UFL Offensive team. May 31, 2025 - WASHINGTON, D.C. - The St. Louis Battlehawks (8-2) defeated the D.C. Defenders (6-4) 13-8 in a rainy matchup at Audi Field on Friday. The Battlehawks wasted no time making their presence felt in a rain-soaked showdown against the DC Defenders. St. Louis came out firing, with quarterback AJ McCarron connecting on a deep ball to wideout Hakeem Butler that immediately pushed them into enemy territory.
