December 4, 2025 - WASHINGTON, D.C. - D.C. United has announced that the club will participate in the 111th edition of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, the nation's most historic soccer competition. The three-time U.S. Open Cup Champions will be one of 16 Major League Soccer clubs competing in this year's tournament. U.S. Soccer has confirmed the official format and schedule, with D.C. November 20, 2025 - WASHINGTON, D.C. - Major League Soccer and D.C. United today announced the club's 2026 MLS Regular Season Schedule. The Black-and-Red will open their season against the Philadelphia Union at Audi Field on Saturday, February 21 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
As part of the announcement, D.C. United confirmed that the club's highly anticipated matchup against Inter Miami CF will take place on Saturday, March 7 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m. ET.

November 13, 2025 - WASHINGTON, D.C. - The National Soccer Hall of Fame today announced that D.C. United Legend Tony Sanneh has been elected as one of the six members of its 2026 class. Sanneh joins Chris Wondolowski, Kevin Crow, Tobin Heath, Heather O'Reilly, and Kari Seitz as the six members who will be inducted at a ceremony on May 1 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
