September 19, 2025 - Los Angeles, Calif. - The Washington Spirit extended its unbeaten streak to nine matches with a 2-2 draw against Angel City FC on the road Thursday night. Star sophomore Croix Bethune delivered an equalizer in the second half to help the Spirit save a point. Washington got on the scoresheet quickly when star forward Trinity Rodman drew a penalty in the eighth minute of action. Washington Spirit Star Tara McKeown Named Player of the Week, Presented by AT&T

September 18, 2025 - Washington, D.C. - Washington Spirit star defender Tara McKeown has been named the NWSL Player of the Week, presented by AT&T for her outstanding performance in last weekend's shutout against the league-leading Kansas City Current, the league announced today. McKeown led the Spirit defending third to its seventh clean sheet of the regular season and helped her side become just the second team to shut out Kansas City at CPKC Stadium since the venue opened prior to the 2024 season. September 14, 2025 - Kansas City, MO - The Washington Spirit drew the NWSL-leading Kansas City Current in a defensive battle on Saturday night. The Spirit kept its seventh clean sheet of the season and captain Aubrey Kingsbury became the first player in the NWSL to record a regular season shutout against all 14 active clubs.
