Washington Spirit Signs Three to National Team Replacement Contracts

July 18, 2024 - Washington, D.C. - The Washington Spirit has signed three players to national team replacement (NTR) contracts, the club announced today. Defender Jenna Butler, goalkeeper Kaylie Collins and forward Olivia Stone will join the Spirit for the 2024 NWSL x LIGA MX Femenil Summer Cup while the club's senior international players are away for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Washington Spirit's Casey Krueger and Croix Bethune Named to NWSL's Best XI of the Month

July 12, 2024 - Washington, D.C. - Washington Spirit defender Casey Krueger and midfielder Croix Bethune have been named to the NWSL's Best XI of the Month, presented by Amazon Prime, for their performance during June play, the league announced today. Krueger played all 360 minutes of June competition for the Spirit and tallied an assist on teammate Trinity Rodman's insurance goal on June 23 against NJ/NY Gotham FC. Washington Spirit Announces Plans for Summer Watch Parties

July 11, 2024 - Washington, D.C. - The Washington Spirit will host a series of watch parties in the greater DC area for this summer's NWSL x LIGA MX Femenil Summer Cup and Olympic Games, the club announced today. New this season, the Spirit has an official network of local bars where fans are encouraged to gather for Spirit matches away from home.
