November 14, 2025 - Washington, D.C. - The Washington Spirit will host a semifinal match in the 2025 NWSL Playoffs, presented by Google Pixel when it meets Portland Thorns FC this weekend. With a win, the Spirit would advance to its second straight NWSL Championship and fourth in club history. Kicking off at 12 p.m. EST on Saturday, November 15, the match will broadcast nationally on CBS. Washington Spirit Ready for Final Home Match of 2025 in Front of Another Sellout Crowd

November 13, 2025 - The Washington Spirit will host its second match of the 2025 NWSL Playoffs and final home match of the year this weekend, taking on Portland Thorns FC in the semifinal round on Saturday at 12 p.m. EST. Saturday's match sold out in record time with all tickets going within 72 hours of the match's announcement. This will be the Spirit's fourth consecutive playoff sellout and sixth overall in the last 17 months. Washington Spirit Goalkeeper Sandy MacIver Called up to Scotland Women's National Team

November 12, 2025 - Washington, D.C. - Washington Spirit goalkeeper Sandy MacIver has been called up to the Scotland Women's National Team for the side's upcoming friendlies, the Scottish FA announced today. The team will face Ukraine and China PR in two friendlies beginning later this month. Originally from Winsford, England, MacIver has appeared in five international matches for the Scotland senior team, earning two clean sheets in the process. Washington Spirit Sells out Home Semifinal Match in Record Time

November 12, 2025 - Washington, D.C. - The Washington Spirit has sold out its home semifinal match in record time, the club announced today. Less than three days after announcing the date and time for its upcoming semifinal against Portland Thorns FC, all seats at Audi Field have been sold. Following last season's home quarterfinal win over Bay FC, Washington sold out its ensuing home semifinal just 72 hours after the match was announced.
