Washington Spirit Sign Swedish International Julia Roddar to a Multi-Year Contract

NWSL Washington Spirit January 26, 2021 - Leesburg, Va. - The Washington Spirit have completed a transfer with Göteborg FC for midfielder Julia Roddar. Upon acquiring Roddar, the Spirit have signed her to a two-year contract. "Adding another full international to the ranks of our 2021 squad this year was always my intention, and getting someone of the quality of Julia Roddar made that acquisition even sweeter," said Spirit Head Coach Richie Burke. Quinn Called in to Canadian National Team Camp

NWSL OL Reign January 25, 2021 - TACOMA, WA - OL Reign midfielder Quinn has been called in to the Canadian national team's camp ahead of the 2021 SheBelieves Cup, Canada Soccer announced today. The midfielder recently returned from their loan to Swedish side Vittsjö GIK. Quinn made four appearances for OL Reign at the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup before heading out on loan ahead of the NWSL Fall Series. NWSL OL Reign January 25, 2021 - TACOMA, WA - OL Reign today announced that it has re-signed defender Steph Cox through the 2021 season. As per team and league policy, terms were not disclosed. Cox, 34, is an OL Reign original, having first signed with the club during its inaugural season in 2013. Cox was a key part of the dominant defense that helped the club win back-to-back NWSL Shields in 2014 and 2015.
