Bears Recall Justin Nachbaur from South Carolina
January 12, 2026 - (Hershey, PA) - The Washington Capitals, the National Hockey League affiliate of the Hershey Bears, announced today that they have recalled forward Justin Nachbaur from the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays.
Nachbaur, 25, has appeared in 15 games with Hershey this season, recording one assist and 41 penalty minutes. He has dropped the gloves five times for the Chocolate and White during the 2025-26 campaign.

Bears Earn Point in 3-2 OT Loss to Monsters
January 11, 2026 - (Hershey, PA) - Ivan Miroshnichenko and Ilya Protas scored for the Hershey Bears (17-14-2-0), but the home team ultimately fell in overtime by a 3-2 score to the Cleveland Monsters (17-12-4-1) on Sunday evening at GIANT Center.

Bears Skate Past Monsters for 3-2 Win
January 10, 2026 - Hershey, PA - Grant Cruikshank broke a 2-2 tie in the third period with a shorthanded goal to lift the Hershey Bears (17-14-1-0) to a 3-2 win over the Cleveland Monsters (16-12-4-1) on Saturday night in front of a sold-out crowd of 10,554 at GIANT Center.
Hershey improved to 2-1-0-0 in the season series against Cleveland, and will conclude the series with the Monsters on Sunday, Jan. 11. The victory also gave the Bears their first three-game winning streak on home ice this season.
