Capitals Loan Ivan Miroshnichenko to Bears
January 21, 2026 - (Hershey, PA) - The Washington Capitals, the National Hockey League affiliate of the Hershey Bears, announced today that they have loaned forward Ivan Miroshnichenko to Hershey. The announcement was made by Washington senior vice president and general manager Chris Patrick.
Miroshnichenko, 21, has skated in 20 games with the Bears this season, scoring 16 points (6g, 10a). He has also appeared in four games with the Capitals

January 21, 2026 - (Hershey, PA) - The Hershey Bears have loaned goaltender Mitch Gibson to the club's ECHL affiliate, the South Carolina Stingrays.
Gibson, 26, has posted a 4-1-2 record in seven games with Hershey this season, owning a 2.25 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage. He earned his first AHL shutout on Dec. 13, stopping 36 shots versus the Charlotte Checkers.
