Stingrays Bring in Blueliner Justin Bean for 2026-27 Season

July 21, 2026 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Washington Capitals and the AHL's Hershey Bears, have announced today they have agreed to terms with defenseman Justin Bean for the 2026-27 season. Bean returns to the ECHL following a season in the EIHL with the Dundee Stars where he had 21 points (4g, 17a) in 43 games. July 20, 2026 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays and MUSC Health announced today that they will extend their partnership as the team's official Healthcare, Hospital and Sports Medicine Provider. Defenseman Connor Moore Returns for Seventh Season with Stingrays

July 16, 2026 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Washington Capitals and the AHL's Hershey Bears, have announced today they have re-signed defenseman Connor Moore for the 2026-27 season. Moore, 29, played in 55 games in the regular season with South Carolina last year, logging 28 points (3g, 25a).
