Whitney's Big Night Propels Stingrays Past Atlanta

March 19, 2018 - DULUTH, Ga. - Steven Whitney did it all for the South Carolina Stingrays (40-15-6-1) in a 3-2 shootout win over the Atlanta Gladiators (29-32-2-3) on Monday night, scoring a goal, assist and the game-winner in the skill session at the Infinite Energy Center. Parker Milner made 24 saves to earn his 22nd victory of the season for the Stingrays, while Joey Leach scored the game-tying goal in the third period and Jake Kamrass earned his first professional point with an assist in the first frame. Steelheads Hold Rays at Bay with 1-0 Win

March 16, 2018 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - For the second straight night, Idaho Steelheads (37-20-4-3) goaltender Tomas Sholl held the South Carolina Stingrays (39-15-6-1) off the scoreboard with a 28-save shutout in a 1-0 victory on Friday night at the North Charleston Coliseum. Jeff Jakaitis also had a big night for South Carolina, making 27 saves in a losing effort. Team captain Joe Devin finished the game with a team-high seven shots on goal. Stingrays Sign J.C. Brassard, Jake Kamrass

March 16, 2018 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Washington Capitals, have announced the signing of defenseman J.C. Brassard and forward Jake Kamrass Friday. Both have recently finished 4-year collegiate careers with Brassard playing for Union College in the ECAC while Kamrass attended UMass-Lowell in the Hockey East.
