January 4, 2026 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - In a game that featured 173 penalty minutes and a goalie fight, the South Carolina Stingrays finished off a season-series sweep over the Greensboro Gargoyles with a 4-2 victory on Sunday afternoon at the North Charleston Coliseum in front of 5,367 fans. January 2, 2026 - NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - In his second start this season with the South Carolina Stingrays, netminder Garin Bjorklund stopped 40 shots on 41 attempts as South Carolina took the season series over the Greensboro Gargoyles with a 3-1 victory on Friday evening at the First Horizon Coliseum. Stingrays Acquire the Rights of Forward Kaleb Ergang in Trade with Adirondack

January 1, 2026 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Washington Capitals and AHL's Hershey Bears, announced that the team has acquired the rights of forward Kaleb Ergang from the Adirondack Thunder in exchange for forward Tanner Edwards. Ergang, 25, broke into professional hockey last season playing in 13 games with the Thunder, tallying nine points (6g, 3a).
