Forward Ryan Hofer Re-Assigned to Hershey
January 27, 2026 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Washington Capitals and AHL's Hershey Bears, have announced that forward Ryan Hofer has been re-assigned by Washington from South Carolina to Hershey.

Jalen Luypen Signs PTO with Tucson Roadrunners
January 26, 2026 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Washington Capitals and AHL's Hershey Bears, have announced that forward Jalen Luypen has signed a professional tryout contract (PTO) with the Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey League.

January 26, 2026 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays took four out of a possible six points this past week with a pair of overtime victories over the Atlanta Gladiators on Friday and the Florida Everblades on Saturday, before falling to Florida on Sunday. South Carolina sits in second place in the South Division, four points behind the first place Florida Everblades.

South Carolina Drops Sunday Matchup to Florida, 6-3
January 25, 2026 - NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - In the final game of a three-game weekend, the South Carolina Stingrays fell to the Florida Everblades, 6-3, on Sunday afternoon at the North Charleston Coliseum in front of 5,201 fans.
Florida (25-8-4-1) opened the scoring quickly in the first period. Zach Berzolla scored less than two minutes in, giving the visitors an early 1-0 lead. South Carolina (25-14-1-0) answered less than five minutes later.
