June 9, 2025 - Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced the team's 2025 Protected List. Reading has retained the rights to 22 players. Of the 22 players, 18 appeared in at least one game for the Royals during the 2024-25 season. Jason Binkley Resigns as Royals Head Coach & General Manager

May 27, 2025 - Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced that Jason Binkley has been relieved of his duties as the team's head coach and general manager.
