Komm Awarded CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week

February 20, 2018 - PRINCETON, N.J. - Branden Komm of the Reading Royals is the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Feb. 12-18. It is the second time in his career that he has received the weekly honor. It is the fourth time a Reading netminder has received Goaltender of the Week honors this season. The 26-year-old posted shutouts in each of first two appearances for the Royals last week, after being acquired in a trade with Manchester. February 20, 2018 - Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, announced Tuesday forward Alex Krushelnyski has been recalled on loan to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Krushelnyski scored twice Sunday and helped Reading earn wins in two of three games this weekend. The Royals sit third in the North Division with 61 points. February 19, 2018 - Reading, PA - Reading Royals (29-20-3-0, 61 pts., 3rd North) goaltender Branden Komm became the first Reading netminder to record consecutive shutouts in his first two Royals games last weekend. The Royals have outscored opponents, 14-0, with Komm in cage and Reading accrued a 2-1-0-0 record this past week. Komm Starts Royals Career with 2nd Straight Shutout, 6-0

February 18, 2018 - Reading, PA - Branden Komm has consecutive shutouts to start his Royals career, making 25 saves in front of an overwhelming Reading Royals effort vs. the Wheeling Nailers, 6-0, Sunday at Santander Arena. A 26-year-old from Williamsville, NY, Komm has made his first 60 saves as a Royal since joining the team from Manchester Tuesday. The Bentley College graduate denied 14 shots in the third.
