Boxcars Take One from Ducks

June 9, 2025 - The Flying Boxcars edged out the Long Island Ducks 3-2 behind a strong start from Mike Kickham and a timely homer from Miles Williams. Kickham tossed seven solid innings, scattering seven hits while striking out six to earn the win. Closer Rafael Kelly shut the door in the ninth for his third save of the year. Boxcars Take Two of Three at Lancaster

June 6, 2025 - Shane Turner earned his first wins of the 2025 season in Lancaster, as the Boxcars took the series, 2-1. Hagerstown crushed eight homers en route to 12-4 and 13-0 wins on Tuesday and Wednesday. Joe DeLuca led the way with a pair of homers, double and a Boxcars record six RBIs. Hagerstown's Ossie Abreu also registered two homers and four RBI on Tuesday. Miles Williams notched the 5th of the day. May 28, 2025 - Our game tonight (5/28) has been postponed. We will play a single admission 7-inning double header tomorrow (5/29) beginning at 4:00 pm. Game two will begin at roughly 6:30 pm, after the conclusion of game one. Your tickets for tonight's game can be used as a voucher for any future home game for the 2025 season. Shane Turner to take the helm for Flying Boxcars

May 25, 2025 - Hagerstown, MD - Shane Turner, a veteran baseball man for the past 40 years, has been tapped by the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars to replace Mark Mason as the team's manager. Turner will take over the reins Tuesday in Hagerstown when the Flying Boxcars host the York Revolution. Mason has served as the Boxcars Manager since the team's entry into the Atlantic League in 2024. The first season was considered an expansion team as Mason had to build a roster from scratch.
