Hagerstown Flying Boxcars Announce Mark Minicozzi Will Take Over as Manager for the 2026 Season

November 14, 2025 - HAGERSTOWN, MD - Today, the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars announced that Mark Minicozzi has been named Manager for the 2026 season. For the past two seasons, Minicozzi was the Manager for the Staten Island FerryHawks of the Atlantic League. Meritus Park to Host WVU, Penn State

November 11, 2025 - After hosting Towson and UMES last season, for a three game set, Meritus Park has found itself home to yet another college matchup. This time, between two local powerhouses - WVU and Penn State. The Mountaineers and Nittany Lions will take the field on April 15th, 2026 in Downtown Hagerstown. Tickets will go on sale on December 1st to the public, with Flying Boxcars season ticket holders having an early presale option, until that date. 2026 Game Times Announced

November 10, 2025 - The Hagerstown Flying Boxcars have announced updated game times for the 2026 season. Tuesdays - Fridays will remain 6:30 pm first pitches. Saturdays will remain a 6:00 pm first pitch. New to 2026, all Sunday home games will have a 2:00 pm start time. This season, the Boxcars will also host three Education Day games at the park, which will have an 11:00 am first pitch, to allow students to attend. - Group outings are now on sale - please contact mwalling@flyingboxcars.com to plan your group event in 2026!... The Grinch Breakfast Returns

November 10, 2025 - The Flying Boxcars are excited to team up with the Valley Mall to once again bring the Grinch to Meritus Park! Stryker and the Grinch will be at Meritus Park on December 13th, from 10 am to noon (doors open at 9:45 am). Enjoy a breakfast buffet, donut decorating, DIY stockings, and other holiday activities!
