March 5, 2025 - SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm today announced the hiring of Mitch Thompson, Elijah Knox and the promotion of Drew Stanich. Thompson joins the Storm as an assistant coach, while Knox becomes the newest player development coach for the franchise. Stanich, former director of basketball operations for the franchise, has been promoted to assistant general manager.

February 25, 2025 - Crystal Langhorne is a highly decorated basketball player. A two-time WNBA Champion, two-time All-Star, and the WNBA's Most Improved Player in 2009, she is no stranger to success on the court. At the end of her seven years with the Seattle Storm, Crystal became the No. 6 player in rebounding, ranked No. 7 in games played, and No. 8 in total scoring in franchise history.

February 21, 2025 - SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm today signed forward Katie Lou Samuelson. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Samuelson spent the 2024 season with the Indiana Fever, playing in 37 games with an average of 18 minutes per game. She put up 4.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists while adding depth at a forward position. In 2022, Samuelson played for the Los Angeles Sparks, where she had a career-best season.
