August 5, 2025 - SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm today announced the team has acquired 2025 All-Star Brittney Sykes in a trade with the Washington Mystics. In exchange, the Mystics will receive 3x WNBA Champion Alysha Clark, guard Zia Cooke and one of Seattle's 2026 first round draft picks.

August 4, 2025 - SEATTLE - Nneka Ogwumike scored 16 points, one of four Seattle players in double figures, but the Seattle Storm fell to the Indiana Fever on Sunday inside Climate Pledge Arena, 78-74.
Skylar Diggins added 13 points, Gabby Williams had 12 and Dominique Malonga came off the bench to score 12. Williams also grabbed nine rebounds.

August 2, 2025 - SEATTLE - Nneka Ogwumike became the first player over 34 years old to notch 37 points and 12 rebounds, but the Seattle Storm fell short to the Los Angeles Sparks in double overtime on Friday night inside Climate Pledge Arena, 108-106.
Skylar Diggins added 18 points for the Storm, Erica Wheeler had 15 and Gabby Williams tallied 14.
