February 13, 2026 - TACOMA, WASH. - Tacoma Defiance today announced that it has signed forward Mark Bronnik to an MLS NEXT Pro contract after executing a permanent transfer from USL League One side Union Omaha. Tacoma Defiance Hires Paulo Nagamura as Head Coach, with Sounders FC Veteran João Paulo Joining his Staff

February 3, 2026 - TACOMA, WASH. - Tacoma Defiance today announced that it has hired Paulo Nagamura as its next Head Coach. Nagamura brings eight years of coaching expertise - notably serving as Head Coach of the Houston Dynamo in 2022 - and 12 years of playing experience in Major League Soccer, winning two MLS Cups and three Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cups as a player. MLS NEXT Pro Announces 2026 Tacoma Defiance Schedule

January 21, 2026 - TACOMA, WASH. - MLS NEXT Pro today announced its 2026 regular season schedule, a campaign that sees each of its 30 teams play 28 matches over the course of 30 weeks. Tacoma Defiance opens its fifth MLS NEXT Pro season at home against Pacific Division foe LAFC 2 on March 1 at Starfire Stadium (7:00 p.m. PT). Sounders FC Signs Yu Tsukanome and Sebastian Gomez from Tacoma Defiance

January 13, 2026 - RENTON, WASH. - Sounders FC today announced that it has signed Tacoma Defiance forward Yu Tsukanome and midfielder Sebastian Gomez to First Team contracts. Tsukanome inks a deal for the 2026 season with club options through December 31, 2027 and December 31, 2028, while Gomez signs as a Homegrown Player through December 31, 2029 with a club option through December 31, 2030.
