May 7, 2025 - KENT, Wash. - The Seattle Thunderbirds selected 21st overall in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft. Along with a trade in this year's WHL Expansion Draft, held for leagues newest club, the Penticton Vees. From the Seattle Thunderbirds the Penticton Vees selected 2006 born Forward Diego Johnson. With the selection of Johnson, Seattle will receive a 2026 4th round pick in the WHL Prospects Draft. T-Birds Acquire Draft Picks in Trade with Red Deer

April 22, 2025 - Kent, WA. - The Seattle Thunderbirds have announced the acquisition of a 4th round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft and a conditional 4th round draft pick in the 2028 WHL Prospects Draft from the Red Deer Rebels in exchange for prospect Zane Torre. Torre, drafted by the Thunderbirds in the 2nd round 43rd overall of the 2023 WHL U.S. Prospects draft, has been playing for the Shattuck SM 16 team. T-Birds Season Comes to an End

April 8, 2025 - KENT, Wash. - The Seattle Thunderbirds dropped a 1-0 double overtime decision to the Everett Silvertips in Game Six of their first-round playoff series Friday at the accesso ShoWare Center. With the loss the T-Birds are eliminated from the postseason as Everett wins the best of seven matchup, four games to two. The only goal of the game came at 13:43 of the second extra period.
