September 11, 2019 - NEW YORK - WNBA Defensive Player of the Year Natasha Howard of the Seattle Storm leads the 2019 WNBA All-Defensive First Team, the WNBA announced today. Howard received the maximum 11 votes from the WNBA's head coaches, earning All-Defensive First Team honors for the second straight season. September 5, 2019 - UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The WNBA announced Tuesday, September 3 the Conference Players of the Week for action during the week of August 26. Connecticut Sun guard Courtney Williams was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week while Brittney Griner of the Phoenix Mercury was named from the Western Conference. September 4, 2019 - Uncasville, Conn. - The Connecticut Sun have punched their ticket to the 2019 WNBA Semifinals with tonight's 102-72 win over the Dallas Wings. The Sun, now 23-9 on the season, can finish no lower than 2nd in the final regular season standings, thus advancing Curt Miller's squad to the WNBA Semifinals. Sun to Honor WNBA Legend Lindsay Whalen

August 14, 2019 - UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The Connecticut Sun will celebrate the career of WNBA legend Lindsay Whalen on August 23 when they take on the Las Vegas Aces at 7:30 p.m. Whalen's No. 13 will join Margo Dydek (12), Nykesha Sales (42) and Katie Douglas (23) in the rafters during a special ceremony at halftime of the game on August 23.
