Rhode Island FC Transfers Maxi Rodriguez to Detroit City FC

December 19, 2025 - PAWTUCKET, R.I. - Rhode Island FC announced today it has reached an agreement with USL Championship Eastern Conference side Detroit City FC for the transfer of midfielder Maxi Rodriguez, pending league and federation approval. RIFC will receive an undisclosed fee for the transfer. "We thank Maxi for his contributions this season and wish him all the best in the future," said RIFC Head Coach and General Manager Khano Smith. URI Football Announces 2026 Schedule at Centreville Bank Stadium

December 16, 2025 - KINGSTON, R.I. - University of Rhode Island Football Head Coach Jim Fleming, together with Coastal Athletic Association Football, released the 2026 Rhode Island Football schedule on Tuesday. The Rams will play a 12-game schedule, with all five home games slated to be played at URI's temporary home field, Centreville Bank Stadium. December 16, 2025 - PAWTUCKET, R.I. - Today, Rhode Island FC announced its schedule for the 2026 USL Championship season. RIFC will play at least 34 games from March to October, including 30 regular-season games and four group stage matchups in the third edition of the newly-named Prinx Tires USL Cup.
