January 9, 2026 - PAWTUCKET, R.I. - Rhode Island FC announced today it has reached an agreement with USL Championship Eastern Conference side Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC for the transfer of forward Albert Dikwa "Chico," pending league and federation approval. RIFC will receive an undisclosed fee for the transfer. "Albert will always have an important place in RIFC history," said RIFC Head Coach and General Manager Khano Smith. Dwayne Atkinson Called up to Jamaica Men's National Team for Upcoming Friendly vs. Grenada

January 8, 2026 - PAWTUCKET, R.I. - Rhode Island FC announced today that midfielder Dwayne Atkinson has been called up to the Jamaican Football Federation Men's National Team for its upcoming friendly against Grenada on Jan. 18. The Reggae Boyz will take on Grenada as part of a preparation camp for their 2026 FIFA World Cup Play-Off Tournament in March, where they will face New Caledonia to keep their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification hopes alive. January 7, 2026 - PAWTUCKET, R.I. - In collaboration with Providence-based design/print studio Frog & Toad, Rhode Island FC announced today that it has released a specialty hoodie to support those affected by the tragic shooting at Brown University on Dec. 13, 2025.
