The 23-year-old southpaw, along with 24-year-old righty David Sandlin, was called up to Worcester from Double-A Portland ahead of this week's homestand against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. Thursday WooSox Game Postponed Due to Forecast of Steady and Heavy Rain

August 1, 2025 - WORCESTER, MA - With rain forecasted to start this afternoon and expected to continue falling at a heavy rate throughout this evening, tonight's game between the host Worcester Red Sox and the visiting Lehigh Valley IronPigs scheduled for 6:45 p.m. at Polar Park has been postponed. July 27, 2025 - ST. PAUL, MN- Despite building a seven-run lead, the Worcester Red Sox (10-17, 51-50) fell 10-9 to the St. Paul Saints (13-14, 45-54) on Sunday afternoon at CHS Field. Trailing 9-2 going into the bottom of the seventh, the Saints batting around and scored six runs to make it a one-run game. Homers from Thompson and Grissom Lead WooSox to 4th Straight Win

July 25, 2025 - ST. PAUL, MN - Thanks to some late offense, the Worcester Red Sox (10-15, 51-48) topped the St. Paul Saints (11-14, 44-54) by a 5-3 final on Friday night at CHS Field. The game was scoreless through four innings. But in the top of the fifth, Trayce Thompson blasted a solo homer to give the WooSox a 1-0 lead. Thompson has now hit safely in five consecutive games.
