Worcester Falls, 5-3, in Weekend Opener to Admirals

January 23, 2026 - NORFOLK, VA - The Worcester Railers HC (16-17-2-1) fell to the Norfolk Admirals (14-19-2-0) in front of a crowd of 5,017 on Friday, January 23rd, with a final score of 5-3 at the Norfolk Scope Arena. The Railers will face off against the Admirals again for part two of their three-game showdown on Saturday, January 24th at 7:05 p.m. Brady Fleurent (2-0-2) grabbed the first goal for the Admirals just two minutes into the first period. Railers Sign Forward Khristian Acosta to ECHL Contract

January 23, 2026 - WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcester Railers Hockey Club (@RailersHC), proud ECHL (@ECHL) affiliate of the New York Islanders (@NYIslanders), and Head Coach & General Manager Nick Tuzzolino, announced today that forward Khristian Acosta has been signed to an ECHL contract. Acosta, 27, joins the Railers following 31 games played for the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs of the Southern Professional Hockey League to open the season where he recorded three goals, seven assists and 75 penalty minutes. January 22, 2026 - WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcester Railers Hockey Club (@RailersHC), proud ECHL (@ECHL) affiliate of the New York Islanders (@NYIslanders), and Head Coach & General Manager Nick Tuzzolino, announced today that forward Hunter Hall has been signed to an ECHL contract. Hall, 27, joins the Railers for his ECHL debut following nine games played for the Watertown Wolves of the Federal Prospects Hockey League in Watertown, New York. Railers Fall Short of Comeback in 4-3 Loss to Maine

January 18, 2026 - WORCESTER - Worcester suffered a disappointing loss on home ice Sunday afternoon, 4-3, to the Maine Mariners. The Railers earned three of a possible six points for the 3 in 3 weekend but Maine added two points to increase its divisional lead over Worcester as part of the process. The home team was stymied in part by Mariners goaltender Brad Arvanitis, one of the ECHL's best.
