Boston Legacy FC has signed Spanish midfielder Alba Caño through the end of 2027 with a team-held option for 2028. Caño will go on loan to Spanish top flight Liga F club FC Barcelona until the end of the year and will join Legacy FC in January ahead of the 2026 NWSL preseason, pending approval of her visa.

July 14, 2025 - Boston, MA - As the next step in Boston Legacy FC's commitment to creating an elite player experience, the club intends to build a $27M, privately-funded performance center in Brockton, MA.
Construction on the approximately 24-acre complex is scheduled to be ready for players by the start of the 2026 NWSL preseason.

July 2, 2025 - Boston, MA - Boston Legacy FC has signed their first ever player, American midfielder Annie Karich (pronounced CARE-ick). Karich's contract extends through the end of the 2027 season, with an option to renew for 2028.
Karich comes to Boston from Frauen-Bundesliga club SC Freiburg as a free agent, where Karich was a defensive midfielder for two seasons, making 36 appearances for the German club.
