January 14, 2026 - Boston - Boston Legacy Football Club today announced their preliminary 23-player roster going into 2026 NWSL preseason. The Legacy will travel to Florida to begin preseason training under head coach Filipa Patão, as well as her technical staff, including assistant coach Bárbara Reis, assistant coach Michael Balogun, goalkeeper coach Hugo Figueiredo, director of high performance Dan Jones, tactical analyst Kelly Crew, and video analyst Fionn Foley Twomey. Boston Legacy Football Club Agrees to Trade with KC Current for Olympic Gold Medalist Nichelle Prince

January 13, 2026 - Boston - Boston Legacy Football Club today announced they have traded with the Kansas City Current for Olympic gold medalist Nichelle Prince. The Legacy receive Prince's rights and a 2026 international roster spot, and the Current receive $125,000 in allocation funds and $50,000 in intra-league transfer funds. 30-year-old Prince joins the Legacy from 2025 NWSL Shield winners Kansas City Current, where she played for two seasons and made 34 appearances. Boston Legacy FC Signs Ugandan Striker Fauzia Najjemba

January 8, 2026 - Boston - Boston Legacy Football Club today announced the signing of Ugandan international Fauzia Najjemba to a two-year contract with mutual option to renew. She will join the team as a free agent in January when the players report for preseason training. 22-year-old Najjemba joins Legacy FC from prominent Russian top flight club Dynamo Moscow, where she played for three seasons. Boston Legacy FC Signs Colombian International Jorelyn Carabalí

January 7, 2026 - Boston - Boston Legacy Football Club today announced the signing of Colombian international Jorelyn Carabalí to a two-year contract with a club option to renew. Carabalí will join the club on a permanent transfer from Brighton and will arrive in January when the rest of the roster reports for preseason. The 28-year-old Carabalí joins Boston Legacy FC after three seasons with Brighton & Hove Albion, where she made 26 appearances.
