Brittney Sykes Makes WNBA All-Defensive First Team

WNBA Los Angeles Sparks September 26, 2021 - LOS ANGELES - The WNBA announced today that LA Sparks guard Brittney Sykes earned All-Defensive First Team honors. Members of the All-Defensive Team were selected by a 49-member panel of sportswriters and broadcasters. This is Sykes' second All-Defensive Team honor. Last season, Sykes earned Second Team honors. Sykes also received six first-place votes for Defensive Player of the Year, finishing second in the ballot for that award. WNBA Los Angeles Sparks September 18, 2021 - On September 16, 2021, the Los Angeles Sparks hosted a Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) theme night at STAPLES Center presented by Legacy History Pride (LHP). LHP provided the Sparks players with hand-crafted and specifically styled HBCU merchandise worn upon their arrival to the arena. WNBA Los Angeles Sparks September 16, 2021 - The Los Angeles Sparks and Atlanta Dream faced off on Thursday evening for their final match-up of the season at the Gateway Center Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
