March 4, 2021 - LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Sparks announced today the signing of Nia Coffey, a 6-foot-1 guard/forward entering her fifth year in the WNBA. Coffey most recently played in the 2020 WNBA bubble with the Phoenix Mercury. For her career, she's appeared in 98 games, starting 18, with averages of 3.8 points and 2.4 rebounds in 12.4 minutes per game. She's a career 35.2% shooter from the three-point line.

March 2, 2021 - LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Sparks announced today the re-signing of 2016 MVP and WNBA champion Nneka Ogwumike. For her career, she's averaged 16.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, while shooting 55.2% from the field, 36.4% on 3-pointers and 83.6% from the line. In nine seasons, Ogwumike has appeared and started in 267 regular season games and 35 playoff games. The Sparks have made the postseason every year Ogwumike has been with the organization.

February 25, 2021 - LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Sparks announced today the re-signing of forward/center Chiney Ogwumike. The two-time WNBA All-Star has career averages of 13.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game, while shooting 55.5% from the field, the fourth-best career field goal percentage in WNBA history.
