General Manager Penny Toler Relieved of Duties

October 4, 2019 - LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Sparks announced today that Executive Vice President and General Manager Penny Toler was relieved of her duties and will no longer be with the organization, effective immediately. A national search will begin immediately to identify the next general manager of the Sparks. Managing Partner and Governor Eric Holoman will assume the duties in the interim. September 19, 2019 - Los Angeles - Despite a quick start in the first quarter, the Los Angeles Sparks couldn't find answers for the remainder of the game. With a Game 2 loss in the WNBA semifinals 94-68 to the Connecticut Sun, the Sparks trail 0-2 in the series. September 17, 2019 - UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The Sparks were in striking distance for the entire game, but were unable to steal Game 1 in Connecticut, falling 84-75.
