Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m., and the match will be available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV with additional radio coverage on 710 AM ESPN, the ESPN App and 980 AM La Mera Mera. Friday's meeting will be the first between LAFC and Pachuca in official competition. July 30, 2025 - LAFC earned a point from its 2025 Leagues Cup opener on Tuesday night at BMO Stadium, playing to a 1-1 draw with Liga MX side Mazatlán before falling 11-10 on penalties. LAFC's David Martínez and Mazatlán's Fábio Gomes traded goals midway through the first half and neither team was able to break the deadlock in the second half, sending the match to a shootout. LAFC Acquires Midfielder Mathieu Choinière on Loan from Grasshopper Club Zürich

July 28, 2025 - LAFC has acquired midfielder Mathieu Choinière on loan from Grasshopper Club Zürich of the Swiss Super League through December 31, 2025. Choinière, a native of Québec and member of the Canadian national team, came up through CF Montreal's youth system after joining their academy in 2011 and signing with the first team in 2018.
