Published on May 22, 2026 under Major League Soccer (MLS)
Los Angeles FC News Release
Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) will host the Seattle Sounders for Pride Night at BMO Stadium this Sunday, May 24. The action gets underway at 6 p.m. PT and will be available to watch on Apple TV, FOX, and FOX Deportes as well as throughout Korea on Coupang Play and SPOTV. Fans can also tune into local radio coverage on 710 AM ESPN, the ESPN App (English), 980 AM La Mera Mera (Spanish), and 1230 AM K-Radio (Korean); national coverage will be available on Sirius XM FC 157 and SiriusXM Soccer en Español 1999.
The match caps off the opening portion of the 2026 league schedule before MLS breaks while the FIFA World Cup 2026 takes place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico throughout June and July. LAFC has amassed a 6-5-3 record and 21 points in MLS play, while Seattle, which has played two fewer games, holds a 7-2-3 record for 24 points.
LAFC is 14-7-4 all-time against Seattle across all competitions, with a 10-4-4 advantage over the Sounders in regular-season play that includes a 7-0-1 mark at home. The Black & Gold has outscored the Sounders 18-4 in MLS matches played in the heart of Los Angeles and, since entering the league in 2018, is second only to Seattle's archrival Portland (31) in goals scored against the Sounders with 30.
Should he feature for LAFC in Sunday's match, it would mark midfielder Timothy TIllman's 150th career appearance for the club across all competitions. He would become only the seventh player in club history to reach that milestone joining Eddie Segura (202), Ryan Hollingshead (191), Carlos Vela (188), Denis Bouanga (172), Latif Blessing (166), and Eduard Atuesta (156).
The game against Seattle will re-air locally in Los Angeles on Tuesday, May 26, at 5:30 p.m. PT on FOX 11 Plus (KCOP-TV Ch. 13). For more LAFC stories, fans can tune into LAFC Weekly, a 30-minute magazine show that gives viewers an in-depth look at the Black & Gold, every Saturday at 10 p.m. PT on FOX 11 Plus.
