April 21, 2026 - Missoula, MT - Last week, the Missoula Paddleheads participated in the annual PBL Arizona Tryout, in which all of the teams across the Pioneer League descend upon Scottsdale, Arizona for a three-day camp where players compete for the attention of the league's top coaches and managers. Freebirds Name Frank Gonzales Manager for 2026

April 16, 2026 - The Yuba-Sutter Freebirds announced today that they have hired Frank Gonzales to manage the club for the 2026 season. The Pioneer League veteran spent last year as skipper for the Grand Junction Jackalopes after managing the Northern Colorado Owlz from 2023-2024. Prior to managing in the Pioneer League, Gonzales spent ten years managing in the Colorado Rockies organization. Missoula Paddleheads Pick up Former Oakland A's Pitcher

April 9, 2026 - Missoula, MT - The Missoula Paddleheads have announced the acquisition of Tom Reisinger, a former pitcher for the Oakland A's, who joins the team ahead of its 2026 season. After a strong college career playing for the East Stroudsburg Warriors, Reisinger was drafted by the A's in 2023. He quickly advanced through the A's minor league system, reaching the High-A level by 2025 and transitioning into a relief role while accumulating over 100 professional innings.
