April 24, 2019 - SAN JOSE, CA. - After the Modesto Nuts took advantage of seven early walks, Eugene Helder launched a pair of insurance home runs to secure a 9-4 win over the San Jose Giants on Tuesday night at Excite Ballpark. April 23, 2019 - SAN JOSE, CA. - A brief bout of wildness cost the Modesto Nuts in a 4-0 loss to the San Jose Giants on Monday night at Excite Ballpark. Gio Brusa started the second-inning rally against Nuts (8-10) starter Austin Hutchison (L, 0-3) with a walk. Logan Baldwin singled and Kyle McPherson walked to load the bases. April 21, 2019 - STOCKTON, CA. - Luis Liberato led the Modesto Nuts' power surge in a 13-2 win over the Stockton Ports on Saturday night at Banner Island Ballpark. Luis Liberato started the offensive rush in the first inning with a three-run homer off Ports (6-11) starter Mitchell Jordan (L, 1-2). In the third, Liberato connected on a solo home run. April 20, 2019 - STOCKTON, CA. - A pair of bombs supported Ljay Newsome's gem as the Modesto Nuts defeated the Stockton Ports 4-1 on Friday night at Banner Island Ballpark. It was Newsome (W, 3-1) who broke first against the Ports (6-10) in the third inning. Trace Loehr started the third with a double. He moved to third on a fly out to right.
