Reign, AHL Announce 2026-27 Regular Season Schedule

July 9, 2026 - The Ontario Reign and the American Hockey League have unveiled the full 72-game schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 AHL regular season. The Reign open the season in Coachella Valley on Oct. 2 before welcoming the Firebirds to Toyota Arena for the club's home opener on Oct. 3. LA Kings Name Chris Hajt Assistant Coach

June 30, 2026 - The LA Kings announced today that Chris Hajt has been named as an assistant coach. Hajt, 47, joins Peter Laviolette's coaching staff after completing his ninth season (2015-17, 2019-26) with the Ontario Reign, the Kings' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, where he most recently served as an associate coach. During the 2017-18 and 2018-19 campaigns, Hajt was as an assistant coach with the NHL's Buffalo Sabres on Phil Housley's staff, who now serves as the Kings' associate coach. Ontario Reign Unveil New Brand Identity for the Next Era of Reign Hockey

June 13, 2026 - Today, the Ontario Reign officially unveiled a full brand evolution that highlights core elements of the Inland Empire and features a redesigned primary logo. In addition, the team introduced new wordmarks, brand font, and an updated color palette featuring the newly enhanced Inland Blue and Empire Gold. Reign's 2026-27 Opening Night Set for October 3rd

May 22, 2026 - The Ontario Reign, proud AHL affiliate of the NHL's LA Kings, announced their home opener for the 2026-27 regular season will be played on Saturday, October 3rd at Toyota Arena. The contest will kick off the team's 19th season in Ontario and 12th in the American Hockey League.
