Ontario Reign Sign Forward Jan Chovan to an ATO

April 6, 2026 - The Ontario Reign announced today that they have signed forward Jan Chovan to an amateur tryout agreement (ATO). Chovan, 19, was drafted by the LA Kings in the 2025 NHL Draft, sixth round, 184th overall, and led the OHL's Sudbury Wolves in goals (28) and points (55) this season skating in 60 games. The Bratislava, Slovakia native spent the previous two seasons playing in Finland with Tappara U20 in SM-sarja from 2023-25 collecting 36 points (18G, 18A) in 69 games. Reign Storm Back to Victory over Condors with Second Period Surge

April 4, 2026 - The Ontario Reign (43-19-3-2) defeated the Bakersfield Condors (34-22-9-1) Saturday night by a final score of 6-3 in front of 9,015 fans at Toyota Arena. The Reign hosts the Colorado Eagles Tuesday at 6 p.m. PST. Ontario did not lead in the game until Nikita Alexandrov scored at 11:44 of the second period making it a 4-3 contest as he buried the empty netter late in the third period to seal the deal. Defenseman Henry Brzustewicz Join's Ontario on PTO

April 4, 2026 - The LA Kings announced today they have signed defenseman Henry Brzustewicz to a three-year entry level contract through the 2028-29 season. Additionally, he will report to the Ontario Reign for the remainder of the 2025-26 season on a PTO. Brzustewicz, 19, was selected 31st overall in the 2025 NHL Draft by the LA Kings and recently finished his third season with the OHL's London Knights where he led the club with 54 points (19G, 35A) in 59 games.
